Duane R. Hall II is an American attorney and politician. He has served as a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives since 2013.
In 2013, Hall sponsored a successful bill that encouraged mediation between landlords and homeowners associations. He has been a major critic of a 2013 North Carolina voter I.D. law that was passed following Shelby County v. Holder.
Hall considered forming an exploratory committee for U.S. Senate to run against incumbent Senator Richard Burr in 2016, but ultimately did not. Hall is a critic of Burr's positions on military and veteran issues.
